Sectional Itinerary
EHS X-C TRAVEL ITINERARY & CONTACT INFORMATION
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 26th – SATURDAY, OCTOBER 27th
SECTIONAL MEET @ EAST PEORIA
Travel Party:
--Coaching Staff: George Patrylak and Steve Chapman
--Female Athletes: Liz Speicher, Courtney Smith, Kaci Smith, Lia Saunders, Kristen Hodge, Ellen Atwood, Alex Weaver, and Bre Schuett.
--Male Athletes: Devon Dudding, Jake Nelson, Eli Sweat, Derek Burge-Beckley, Chris Taglieri, Aaron Cole, Tyler Cann, and Riley Atwood.
MATERIALS: We will bring sport beverages and water for the trip. Please bring healthy snacks and money for some food, t-shirts and leisure. Remember to bring running shoes and spikes, uniform, matching spandex tops and bottoms (black), warm-ups, practice clothes, change of clothes, towel, and other necessary sanitary and hygene needs.
FRIDAY
--Dismissal from class: 12:05 (after 4th hour).
--Departure from EHS: 12:30 p.m. aboard Laidlaw bus.
--Arrive at ICC to run Sectional Course around 3:30 p.m.
--Check into hotel: Quality Inn in Morton, Illinois. Arrive around 5:45. Shower and get ready for dinner.
--Dinner: 6:30. We will discuss the options of having food brought to the hotel or going to Avanti’s (etc) in East Peoria as a team. Boys and girls will eat together at the same location.
--Movie and/or relaxation: We will discuss the option of a movie at a theatre or hotel or some sort of relaxation. We will not go swimming. This will be roughly 8:00-10:00 p.m.
--Team meetings: 10:00 p.m. Girls will meet in the hotel lobby or in the coaches’ room (with chaperone). Boys will meet in Jake Nelson’s room (TBA).
--Lights out and cell phones off (no exceptions): 10:30 p.m.
SATURDAY
--Girls wake-up call: 8:00 a.m. Breakfast in lobby at 8:15.
--Boys wake-up call: 8:30 a.m. Breakfast in lobby at 8:45.
--8:45-9:45: Shower and prepare for the meet
--Keys turned in to Coach Patrylak: 9:45.
--Depart to ICC: 10:00 a.m.
--Girls Warm-up: 11:20 a.m.
--Girls Race: 12:00 p.m. (NEW TIME)
--Boys Warm-up: 12:15 p.m.
--Boys Race: 1:00 p.m. (NEW TIME)
--Awards Ceremony: 1:45 p.m.
--Lunch at course or at a restaurant: 2:00 p.m.
--Stop at Russel Stovers in Lincoln: 3:50 p.m.
--Arrival at EHS: 6:30 p.m.
