Congratulations Girls! Everyone did a Great Job! Our effort was great! The Tiger girls finished in 6th place out of 25 teams at this very competitive indoor track and field meet. The season is still very young, we will continue to improve, you are all hard workers!
The following girls earned medals with a top 8 finish:
-Kaci Smith (2nd place, 400m dash) 1:01.07!!
-Lia Saunders (2nd place, 800m run) 2:22.41!!
-Courtney Smith (3rd place, 1600m run) 5:30
-Liz Speicher (5th place, 1600m run) 5:33
-Shanice Rice (6th place, 55m hurdles) 9.35
-Kaci Smith (7th place, long jump)
-Kelsey Baumgartner, Robin Umbaugh, LaQoia Davis, Shanice Rice (7th place, 4x200 relay)
-Abbey Frese, Laurin Wright, Ellen Atwood, Kristin Hodge (7th place, 4x800 relay) 11:02.46

Kelsey Baumgartner narrowly missed a medal in the 55m dash with her 9th place finish while Claire Kates also finished in 9th place in the high jump.

Sophmore Megan Ruddy stepped up BIG in her FIRST track meet, finishing 12th out of 33 runners in the 800m run (2:41.49).

The following Freshman performed well in their first high school track meet:
- Bridget Fisher (4x400 and triple jump)
-Laurin Wright (4x800)
