The Edwardsville Cross Country and Track and Field (XCTF) Booster Club

RE: The first Edwardsville XCTF Booster Club meeting of the 2010/2011 school year.

When: Wednesday, September 1, 2010.

Starting Time: 6:30 p.m.

Location: Tiger Country, located adjacent to the Winston Brown Track Complex at EHS.

Who: All parents that have a child or children participating in Cross Country or Track and Field at Edwardsville High School, Liberty Middle School, or Lincoln Middle School.

Why Should You Attend: Stay caught up with information regarding the Cross Country and Track and Field programs for District 7, volunteer to help out at home meets and invitationals, be able to voice your opinion and add parental input about the programs, and help us to be one of the most productive booster clubs in Edwardsville.

• Nomination and Election of 2010/2011 Executive Officers
• Summary of Mud Mountain 15 (Fiscal and Participation)
• Update on Booster Club Financial Balance
• Discussion of Schedules for EHS, Liberty, and Lincoln
• Discuss The Concession Position for Home Meets
• Organize Volunteers for Home Invites
• Discuss Executive Committee Updating By-Laws
• Discuss Picnic For Granite City Invitational
• Coaches’ Comments
• Set Monthly Date for XCTF Booster Club Meetings
• Open Floor

What To Bring: If possible, please bring one case (8 pack) of 20 ounce Gatorade bottles for sale at our concession stand at home meets.

-Take Route 15 East to the Frank Scott Parkway Exit
-Take a Left on Frank Scott Parkway
-The high school is on your right, you will see it right away

Team Pictures and Team T-shirts

Team Pictures will be taken at practice on Thursday, August 19th. We will give you the team t-shirts at this time. Pictures will be taken in your team t-shirts. Please bring either $13.00 or a check for $13.00 to cover the cost of the team t-shirt. This year's shirts are dry fit. Please make checks payabele to the EHS Track and Field/ Cross Country Booster Club.

After School Practice

After school practices will begin on Wednesday, August 18th. Please meet on the EHS track by 2:30pm. Make sure to eat a healthy breakfast and lunch each day. Please do a good job hydrating throughout the day. You must attend ALL practices. Running specific shoes are required for all practices (these should be in good shape).
