Booster Request for Edw. Invite Help Sat.

Thanks to all of you who helped last week at the Tiger and Liberty
invitational meets. Both meets seemed to run very smoothly.

This week 26 teams come to our course for the Edwardsville Invitational
on Saturday morning, September . The meet begins at 9 am, but we need
volunteers to help set up starting at 6:30 am. We need help getting
ice, water, setting up tents, concessions, etc. If you can't make it
that early, we will also need volunteers to sell t-shirts and
concessions, as well as help in the chute during the races.

This is a big meet. We need as many volunteers as we can possibly get.
Please contact Dave Goodhue (261-8811, dgoodhue@casinoqueen.com) or me
(numbers below) and let one of us know if you can help. We will try to
let you know in advance where you are needed.

Thanks again. See you Saturday.

Parent Help

Parents: The Edwardsville Invitational is this Saturday, September 16th. As there are 26 teams coming we will need help with set up, clean up, parking, concessions, the finish line and a myriad of other things.

We are unlike most other sports. We are provided money for an official starter by the school and that's it. We are responsible for running everything else. We need your help. An e-mail and or flyers will be coming around early this week. We will probably meet to discuss plans on Wednesday or so. If you can make it that would be great. If you have not already joined the Booster Club please do so so you can be on the e-mail/phone list.

We are known for running great meets at Edwardsville. We need to increase parent participation in the Booster Club from all ends to make meets continue to run as smooth. If you have any questions about how you can help please feel free to contact me. We are off to a great start. Let's keep it moving.
